Hotel Garda

The room was excellent and very clean. Traveling alone, I found the staff especially helpful, and everyone went out of their way to assist me in all sorts of ways. I'll recommend this hotel whenever I can.

The room was simple but clean, and having a balcony was a real plus. The hotel is in a nice area beside the park, and the staff were always cheerful, friendly, and ready to help with any problems. I'd happily stay here again if I return to Rome.

My room was decent and clean, and the bathroom was lovely. I was glad to get an upgrade to a double room, since I'd been a bit concerned by some cleanliness comments I'd read beforehand. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful too. I had a comfortable, pleasant stay at Hotel Garda in Rome.

The hotel was quieter than the main areas, which I appreciated. Bars and cafes nearby were also a bit cheaper, a nice bonus for our family. Cleanliness was excellent: the room was cleaned very carefully, we always had fresh towels, and the bathrooms stayed pristine. The location was fantastic, though distances in Rome can be deceptive, so expect a longer walk to the main sights. The two women at the front desk were lovely and helpful; the service from the man was less so. At 11 PM it took him over 40 minutes to bring towels, and he ordered the wrong kind of taxi for the main station, which was a real hassle with all our luggage. The online photos didn't match our rooms. Two members of our group had somewhat updated rooms, but they were very small. My partner and I got a larger room that hadn't been updated apart from the bathroom. The mattresses were awful, and I regret not asking for another bed.
