The location was a real highlight, with cafes and restaurants nearby and the Vatican about a 10-15 minute walk away. There’s also a lovely cafe downstairs and plenty of restaurants on the same street. It’s a cosy place on the third floor, with just four rooms, a kitchen and air conditioning. The staff were attentive and quick to respond, both in person and through the chat service. I had a lovely stay.

The location was awesome, with some great restaurants just a few minutes away and the main attractions around a 30-minute walk. I really enjoyed my stay, and the room was very comfortable. The staff were friendly too. One frustrating thing: if you book through booking.com, communication can be very slow or even nonexistent.

We walked from the main terminal and took in some sights, stopping for tea along the way. A taxi is about €16 if you’d rather skip the walk. There are also a few great cafes nearby for coffee and breakfast, and local amenities and attractions are easy to reach on foot. The building is beautiful, and the hosts were really helpful. Our large room was comfortable, and the balcony was lovely. One tip: bring your own hair dryer if you need one, since the ones provided are the low-voltage bathroom type. We had a really good stay and I’d happily recommend it.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We were surprised to find the hotel on the fourth floor, though the staircase is beautiful and there’s an elevator too. We stayed three nights in November. The location was perfect, close to both the metro and the Vatican. Breakfast was good, especially the fruit selection, though I’d have preferred more meat and fewer pastries. There was an unpleasant smell, a bit like fish, by the entrance, which slightly spoiled our stay.
