There are shops nearby, and the rooms are spacious with a clean bathroom and a nice little kitchen. The only real drawback for me was the location: it's 10-15 minutes from the Vatican, but the nearest metro is quite far away. Still, I think it's a great option when travelling to Rome.

The mattresses in all three rooms are badly worn and need replacing. They have uneven dips that made it uncomfortable to sleep after a tiring day. The pillows are flat with no cushioning, and should be replaced too. One room had a frayed, faulty shower hose and a broken showerhead holder that could cut your fingers. The toilet was missing its plastic seat, so sitting on the ceramic bowl was uncomfortably cold in cold weather. The bathtub in one of the three rooms was leaking.

The Vatican is about 500 metres away, the bus stop about 50 metres, and the Colosseum roughly 4 kilometres. It's clean, centrally located, and very well maintained. The internet is very good, and the kitchen has plenty of utensils. Well worth the money.

The host was really helpful and nice, and the place is beautiful. Each room has its own ensuite, and it's right by the Vatican.

It's simple but clean, and within walking distance of Rome, the Vatican, and the Basilica.
