Hotel Flavio Rome

The reception desk is staffed 24/7, and the rooms are spacious with an old-fashioned design. The location is good. But cleaning is lacking: the towels were dirty and stuck together, and there was hair all around the room. The toilet had no water at all and wouldn't drain. For that price, the place should be cleaner.

The service was fantastic, with very friendly and helpful staff, among the best of our trip in Europe. The room felt outdated and had some mold, though nothing serious. The location was okay, but good if you're mainly looking to stay near the train station.

Being near the train station made getting in easy, though the center felt farther away than I wanted. The room itself was comfortable and nice, but housekeeping could have done a much better job.

The location near Termini was convenient, but the neighborhood was awful, with a nightclub nearby and people making noise in the street. Between that and the music, we barely slept and had the worst night of my life. The room was just as bad: a horrible smell that I can't forget, a shower so tiny it felt made for dolls, and grime built up along the sliding door track that turned my stomach. Don't waste your money. Those 8/10 ratings sound like they're for somewhere else. Even one star feels too generous.
