Fornaci - WR Apartments

The terrace had a table for two, and the bed was comfortable. The room wasn't spacious, but it worked well for two of us. When we arrived on New Year's Eve, there was sparkling wine and a box of chocolates waiting for us. The kitchen also had plenty of coffee, at least ten kinds of tea, and cookies. It's very convenient for the Vatican. We were fine with the 20-50 minute walk to the historic center, and there's a bus stop less than a minute away with frequent service to Piazza Venezia.

A quiet neighborhood, a clean room, and a friendly hostess. This lovely guest house is near the Vatican, and the bus stop is just a few steps away.

I hadn't realized we'd be sharing the place. We had a separate bathroom, but the walls were so thin that hearing each other wasn't pleasant. Aside from that, everything was excellent. The apartment is lovely and modern, with a small balcony and a nice view. The furniture looked new and well cared for, and the kitchen had all sorts of things for cooking, cleaning, and drinks. The bathroom was clean and new, with lots of fresh towels, shower gel, and shampoo, and the bed was comfortable. The owner was very nice and left us a coffee machine and sweets. It's right by the Vatican, with local places nearby, a grocery store close, and a bus stop about a minute away.

Our room looked out onto the main street, and we could see the cathedral. It was spotless, and fresh pastries were provided every day for breakfast. The B&B is in a great spot, about a five-minute walk from St Paul Cathedral. We had a lovely stay and recommended it to all our friends planning a visit to Rome.
