Gladiator's House

Antonello, the owner, was incredibly kind, and the apartment is a great fit for two. A young child under five might also be able to sleep on the small sofa. It's fully equipped, with air conditioning, and there's a little supermarket nearby. The neighborhood is quiet, and the Colosseum and metro are close. Though it's on the ground floor and the windows face an interior courtyard, the apartment is still bright. That wasn't a big concern for me, since you don't come to Rome to stay indoors all day. I highly recommend it.

The Colosseum is just a 3-minute walk away, so the location is fantastic. The apartment has everything for two people, including a kitchen, fridge, coffee and tea, TV, and hairdryer. They also left water in the fridge and a nice welcome treat.

The house was spotless, welcoming, and well cared for, just a few steps from the Colosseum. Our host was friendly and helpful, and the comforts and thoughtful little details made the stay relaxing. Everything was perfect, highly recommended.

It's a lovely house with what you need, though some maintenance seems a bit neglected. Being in central Rome, just a stone's throw from the Colosseum, makes that easier to accept.
