La Maisonnette Tritone Trevi Apartment Rome

The apartment's problems started with basic cleanliness and upkeep. The floor was dirty and sticky, there were dust webs everywhere, and both bathrooms had mold. The smell upstairs was unbearable, a scorpion turned up in the upstairs bathtub, and the upstairs toilet water was always yellow or brown, so we didn't use it. The downstairs shower door was broken, as was the front door, and the downstairs bathroom door wouldn't close properly. There was no hot water in the kitchen, and the upstairs bedroom window wouldn't shut. At night we could constantly hear the air conditioning or heating switching on and off through that window. The apartment isn't insulated, either, so we could hear people talking in the hallway. Our neighbors across the street arrived at night and even rang the doorbell. Several lights didn't work, and the Wi-Fi was down at night. The kitchen had a rag but no towel for drying dishes, and there was no dishwasher. We were told clean towels cost extra, and I think the same applies to getting the floor cleaned. For what we paid, Tritone 91 apartment 1a was a huge disappointment. I reported everything. They said they'd come look and fix the issues, but it seems they only came to look. I would have given it zero stars, but the site required at least one to post.

Everything in the apartment was well cared for, with coffee and tea ready and drinks stocked in the fridge. The place is in a good spot in the city center, close to the Trevi fountain. Other sights are walkable, and there's a metro nearby for the rest. Really nicely arranged!

The owner was very helpful with everything we asked. The apartment was beautiful, freshly renovated, and spotlessly clean. It's centrally located, right by the metro, with easy access to Rome's points of interest.
