A terrible experience. We ended up going to the police, so I'd avoid this place. At check-in, she told us it was at 4 PM, while Agoda clearly said 2 PM. When we raised that, she said they “don’t work with Agoda,” which made no sense given that we booked through it. After the confusion, she sent a WhatsApp link and insisted I enter my card details to pay the city tax. I wasn't comfortable doing that and offered cash, but she refused. We were left outside in the rain for more than an hour. The next morning she opened our room door and tried to come in without permission. I complained, and she said she was there to clean and asked why we hadn't locked the door, though the door has no lock. We hadn't asked for cleaning. She didn't apologize. Instead, she sent an inappropriate voice message, then deleted it. The trip was ruined, and this was the first time in my life I had to file a police report. I strongly recommend avoiding the place.

The room was filthy, and we couldn't get in touch with anyone who could help. The whole situation was awful, worse than I'd accept for animals. We tried to get our money back and they wouldn't give it to us. It's the worst accommodation I've ever seen, and everything about it was shitty. We went to the police because it was that bad. I wouldn't recommend it.

It was stuffy and too hot, and the window was broken so it couldn't be left open to air the room out. The curtains were dirty, there was a tiny fridge sitting on the floor, and the toilet and shower were old. The room itself was disgustingly dirty and just big enough for the bed, which was a permanently pulled-out sofa bed, not a proper bed. I was afraid to sleep on it. The furnishings can't have cost more than $200 in total, and it was definitely not worth 100 euros a night. I'd rather have taken a train into Rome than stayed here.

The room was clean, and the building felt very secure. Elena made self check-in easy and was quick to respond and kind. The location is good, roughly a 30-minute walk from everything we wanted to see in Rome. Sensorio Coffee Lab is right next door, and it's a great coffee shop for breakfast. Our room was tiny, including the bathroom, and you had to pass through the laundry room to reach it. People came in and out late at night, briefly but still. The bed was a pull-out sofa, though mostly comfortable. I also didn't find the silver decor very welcoming, though that may just be my taste. It wasn't really a hotel, more a hallway with a few rooms attached, which may not bother everyone. The stay wasn't terrible, but it didn't feel relaxing.
