Guest House Grazioli

We’d definitely stay here again. The service was very good, and the front desk lady was the sweetest. They let us check in early and kept our bags after checkout while we went for a walk. The location was great, within walking distance of everything.

At €120 a night, Guest House Grazioli felt nowhere near worth the price. The central location, close to major attractions, was the only real plus. I was very disappointed by the experience and wouldn't recommend staying unless you're ready for something basic at a much lower price. The photos online gave a misleading impression of a cozy, modern and comfortable place. In reality, this is a converted apartment divided into separate rooms. Ours was tiny, cramped and uncomfortable, with old, worn furniture that didn't resemble the pictures. Noise carried between rooms, so there wasn't much privacy or peace. The bathroom was especially difficult to use. It was extremely small, with a tiny shower. I'm average-sized and couldn't stretch my arms or shave my legs comfortably, and I don't know how someone larger could manage. For that rate, I expected comfort, cleanliness and an honest presentation, but didn't find them. Look at the pictures yourself and compare the advertisement with what you get.

It was fairly good for the price, and our room had a pretty good view with a reasonably comfortable bed. The shower was a problem, though. Its door was wider than the shower pan, so water leaked all over the floor and used up our towels quickly. The shower itself wasn't great. There’s no front desk, so have a phone number to call when you arrive. The elevator is there, but looks like an ordinary door. They also require the city tax in cash as soon as you get there.

The room was bright, the location was good, and check-in and check-out were easy. They had free coffee and tea, too. But there were two big drawbacks: the shower only had a fixed overhead head, so it was hard to wash without getting your hair wet. The room was cold because the heating was off, and the AC's heat function didn't work.
