The location worked really well for walking around the city, with plenty of places to eat nearby, and we had a clean bed, private bathroom, and a lovely balcony. The room didn’t have the usual extras like coffee, soap, cups, or blankets, though the sheets and towels were clean. This feels more like an apartment or hostel than a hotel, so don’t expect standard hotel amenities. The area felt a little sketchy at night, but the building itself felt very safe, on the second floor of a large building. You get what you pay for, and I’ve stayed in worse.

I wouldn’t recommend booking unless the owner or manager can confirm they’re active. We booked online and tried to reach the property to arrange check-in, but the phone numbers on hotels(.)com and Google got no results. We went to the address because it said the front desk was open from 8am to 10pm. There was no front desk, just an elevator and stairs on either side, with nobody around. We climbed all the stairs and checked the door labels, but none had the property name.

For that price, you can find much better accommodation in Rome. The room cost too much, and the hotel staff were unhelpful and impolite.
