H-Aviva Giubbonari Apartment

The location was perfect, the apartment was spacious, the air conditioning worked well, and check-in and communication with the owners were easy. My only complaint is the cleanliness, especially in the kitchen, which was disgusting. Plates and silverware had dried food stuck to them, and everything else in there was dirty too. There were just three dirty glasses, one cracked. We were four people, so we had to share the two usable ones. The kitchen also had no microwave, and although there’s an oven, there were no oven-safe dishes, making it pretty useless. It connects straight to the bathroom, which is an odd and uncomfortable layout.

The apartment itself was nice, and the location was the one really good part. We arrived on June 23 with my family. One air conditioner didn’t work, although the owner promised to fix it after a few days. The showerhead was broken, making it hard to shower, and we barely had toilet paper or towels. The staircase felt dangerous, though I’m guessing that may be the case in houses across Italy, so I won’t judge it. WiFi hardly worked and we had to figure it out ourselves. It’s on the expensive side, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Hopefully this review helps the owner fix some things.

The location was the one good thing. The place was really dirty and poorly maintained, and definitely wasn’t worth the price.

From this well located apartment, we could walk to all the sights and keep exploring more of Rome along the way.
