The room was clean and came with soap, cotton pads, and other toiletries. The air conditioning worked really well, and it was a big plus that they adjusted to our check-in time. The woman described as “crazy” was polite. She didn’t speak English, but that wasn’t a problem since the owner replied to our emails within minutes. It’s basically a simple hotel room. The refrigerator didn’t work, and breakfast wasn’t filling: a dry baked croissant, fresh orange juice, and coffee. The coffee was delicious, though.

The place itself is nice and comfortable, but dealing with the only staff member was really bad. She was angry all the time, and we speak only English. We were meant to leave at 10:00, but she started knocking at 7:30. Each time we opened the door, no one was there, and when we closed it, she knocked again. At 9:40 she knocked as if someone was dying. When we opened, she spoke angrily in Italian. We tried to explain we still needed time to get our things ready, but then she started throwing pillows and other stuff around, anxiously asking if we’d been smoking and smelling everything. We left early, and as we were going, she threw one of my brother’s socks at him. She was incredibly angry about us speaking only English.

The staff consisted of just one woman, and she was always angry. We stayed for a week, but she cleaned the room only once. Breakfast was the same every day, with no variety. If I could, I’d give it zero stars.

Good price and a very good location. The rooms were clean.
