We had a great terrace on the fifth floor with views of the Vatican, and the hotel itself was quiet and very clean. Our medium-sized room was comfortable, with a modern shower room, good AC even in January, a decent-sized TV, a fridge, and a lift. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Vatican was a 25-minute walk away, buses about five minutes away, and restaurants a five to ten-minute walk. Grocery shops were just two minutes away. We also used the airport transfer. The friendly driver waited at the exit, emailed to say he was there, and picked us up in a Mercedes, which got the day off to a good start.

As a solo traveler, I mainly wanted a clean room, a nice bed, and privacy. The room was good, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was great. The location felt both convenient and safe. For the price, the stay was surprisingly good value. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and they moved me right away once I reported the problem. Room 42 needs repairs or should be taken out of use because there was mold in the bathroom. The room also looked neglected and smelled bad.

I booked the wrong dates by mistake and contacted the hotel right away. At first they said changing the dates was possible, but later denied that and gave explanations I felt were false. They then stopped replying altogether, even to Booking.com, and offered no help. Because they wouldn't communicate or look for a solution, we had to book somewhere else. A very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I wouldn't recommend them.

I chose this place because it had a 24-hour reception, which suited my late arrival. The night staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is older, but the room's amenities had been upgraded, and everything was very clean, including the bathroom. The room was small, as expected for the price, and that was fine with me. Breakfast was an excellent buffet, and the Vatican was about a 15-minute walk away. An affordable stay in Rome, and I'd recommend it.
