We stayed four nights in February, two adults and two children. Roma Termini was only a five-minute walk away, and we felt comfortable walking around even at night. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, and they let us store our luggage after checkout. The room was spacious, warm, and clean, with a simple rather than fancy interior. We slept well and had good showers. There’s also a dining room with hot drinks, tables, and chairs where you can grab a bite. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was a good choice for a fair price, and we’d definitely return for the service and basic accommodation.

The owners went out of their way to help when I thought I’d lost something. My single room had plenty of space for one and a mini-fridge, and the location was excellent, close to the train station and main attractions. I walked to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain from there. The pillow wasn’t as fluffy as I like, but that’s just my preference. I had an amazing stay and would recommend Big Bang Hotel, especially to solo travelers.
I had some of my best sleep in a while thanks to the AC. I set it to 16 Celsius, haha. The owners were very kind and did their best to make the stay good. The hotel is oddly situated inside another hotel, but you can get to it easily by elevator. The rooms were spacious and very clean, which felt like great value for the price. I wasn’t expecting a five-star room at that rate. The bathroom had a few mostly cosmetic flaws, but everything worked fine. You can walk to almost everything, and the train station is nearby if you need it. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
We were really happy with our stay. The staff were lovely and helped us with everything, no request was too much trouble. Thanks for having us at Eureka Rooms/Hotel Big Bang. I highly recommend it.
The room was spacious, and the hotel is close to the train terminal, but that was about all we liked. It took 20-30 minutes to walk to three major attractions and an hour to reach the Vatican. There was a fair amount of mold in the bathroom, and the shower is open with the toilet right beside it, so water gets everywhere. The room was also hard to darken because the only window with blinds had an outside wooden shutter with several broken slats. We could hear a lot from the courtyard and the apartments above. On our first night, people upstairs were roughhousing at 1 a.m. for two hours and kept us awake. There’s another hotel below, too. The entrance was awkward. What seemed meant to be a shared area was cluttered with construction materials and looked unprofessional. The elevator wasn’t working, and the front desk said it often goes down on weekends. With three flights of stairs, this really isn’t suitable for people with mobility issues. At check-in, I got attitude about supposedly not checking my email, even though I’d replied twice with my arrival time. The woman was rather rude. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It felt overpriced, and I wish we’d paid a bit more to stay elsewhere. Maybe consider it if you’re absolutely stuck, but I’ve stayed in hostels in much better shape.
