Only the location was good, with everything walkable in about 20-25 minutes. I stayed in room number 18, which was very small and dark, with mold and a really bad smell. Maybe that’s why they use so much perfume everywhere. I couldn’t bring myself to shower for three days because it was disgusting. I trusted the reviews, but now I think they were all fake.

We checked in last night and found that the room looked nothing like the photos. There was mold all over the bathroom and the walls were dirty. The AC wasn’t working. When we asked for someone to fix it or move us to another room, they said they could only give us an extra blanket. The main floor door wouldn’t close properly, day or night, so it felt completely unsafe. We contacted the imaginary manager on WhatsApp, but they didn’t care. There was just a rude woman sitting at what was supposed to be reception. We checked out right away and requested a refund through the booking platform, though honestly I don’t expect anything from these scammers. Now they’re denying our refund and claiming they offered us another room. We have WhatsApp messages showing they agreed to a refund and said the only thing they could offer was an extra blanket. Save your hard-earned money and book somewhere else. This place doesn’t deserve even one star. It’s a scam.

Avoid this place. There was mold in the rooms and a strong smell. We had an allergic reaction on our first night and had to move to another hotel for health reasons, but still had to pay for all the nights we’d booked. A nightmare.

The location made getting around easy: Termini is about a 12-minute walk, and two major bus stops are right nearby. Our street-facing room stayed surprisingly quiet, and the building felt secure with codes at both the entrance and hotel door. The hotel takes up one small suite on a floor, which worked fine; there’s a little elevator, and it was only one floor up. We arrived after reception had closed, but the entry instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The room was clean, matched the online photos, and had a comfortable bed, a large modern bathroom, and plenty of space for two. The AC cooled it down quickly. Water did splash out of the shower because there was no door, though that’s common in Europe and wasn’t a big deal. Erika also sent lots of food and activity suggestions, which I really appreciated. This was my second visit and, aside from one disappointment, it was a great stay. They no longer deliver the free breakfast to the room each morning like they used to. I’d still come back to Rome and stay here again.
