Monti made this apartment for me. It's a fun neighborhood, full of local spots, and still close to the big tourist sights. The apartment was clean, pleasant, and everything worked. Dario checked us in, then pointed out his favorite places on a map and told us about the area. Nearby there's a Conad for basics, Ai Tre Scalini, loads of restaurants, taxis, and views of the Colosseum, Trajan's arch and market, and the big government building Mussolini built. Trevi fountain and the Pantheon are a short walk away too. Honestly, I liked it so much I'd happily own the place and live there.

I stay in short-term apartments for work all over Europe, and this was easily my worst experience. The host really needs to learn some manners. Avoid it.

The location is the real highlight, right by the Colosseum, Cavour metro station, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. The apartment also has a fridge, stove, air conditioning, and bathroom. A very good spot.
