The reception team were friendly, respectful, polite, and full of useful information. Our room was clean and ready for us, and it had air conditioning. Breakfast was about what you’d expect, depending on your own preferences. The hotel’s location made getting around easy: Fontana di Trevi and The Spanish Steps are only a few minutes away, while the Vatican, Pantheon, and Colosseum are around a 30-40 minute walk. There’s plenty more to see, plus shopping and delicious pizza. We spent five days here and would consider booking the same hotel on a future trip. 😊

We slept really well here, even with all the hustle and bustle of the city nearby. The hotel was quiet, with no noise keeping us awake. Hotel Cecil is just a short walk from the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain, with lovely places to eat all around. Our room was well equipped and had a beautiful balcony, and the staff were very helpful. I enjoyed my stay a lot.

The staff were friendly, and the location is handy for Trevi Font. At the front desk you can buy tickets for some attractions, including the Colosseum, hop-on hop-off bus, and Vatican Museums. I was there in April when the temperature was comfortable, but I’m not sure there’s air conditioning for hot days. Breakfast could be better: there was only white bread, and the coffee and food area is so small you have to wait for others to finish before getting anything.

The breakfast was great, with eggs and sausage, pancakes, meats and cheeses, cereal, pastries and cakes, fruit and yogurt, coffee, and juice. Everything tasted delicious. We stayed at Hotel Cecil for five nights, and the room was clean and updated. The staff were a big help with restaurant suggestions, directions, and anything else we needed. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Really clean, good rooms, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for visiting Rome’s hot spots. I highly recommend staying here.
