The hotel is well placed for seeing the city, with public transport, restaurants, and attractions easy to reach. The staff made us feel welcome and were helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. I had an excellent stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for budget accommodation with convenient access around town.

The father and son who run this place made my stay feel personal. They were gentle, honest, and happy to help with anything, from finding a place to buy something to sorting out services travelers might need. They made me feel like family, and left me with a strong impression of how good people can be. The hotel is near the central train station, and if you want to see more of Italy, they’ll point you in the right direction without expecting anything back beyond the fairness and honesty they showed me. Rome has elegant hotels, but the Charter Hotel has a kind of love and class that many more expensive places can’t match.

The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions or offer suggestions. The room was clean and had what I needed for a short stay, especially since so much of Rome is within walking distance. The main train station is less than a five-minute walk away, and restaurants and convenience shops are within about 30 seconds. I’d definitely recommend it.

The price felt fair for a hotel so close to the centre, about a five-minute walk from the main train station. Our room was a bit small, and the bathroom felt cramped, though it was big enough. The lift was small too, but it fit two adults and a pram. We loved our stay and will be back.
