This was a nice guest house in a perfect spot, right across from the colosseum. It has three rooms and is classified as a guest house, so it’s best to set expectations that way from the start. There are lots of nice restaurants within walking distance, and the daily housekeeping was a welcome touch. Breakfast was at Oppio caffe just downstairs, facing the colosseum, and the staff there were super lovely. Since it isn’t a hotel, don’t expect hotel standards for things like daily towel changes. I was told towels are changed every 3 days. Breakfast choices were limited to a croissant and coffee. There’s no on-site staff, although when I had an issue with the hot water, the owner, I think, came over and fixed it very quickly. All in all, it’s a good guest house in a perfect area.

The garden-facing window made for a quiet night's sleep, and the owner was very helpful, including with restaurant suggestions that turned out delicious. The apartment is superbly placed right across from the Coloseum and the historic city centre. Great choice!

We stayed five days and never saw anyone, but that was fine. All the instructions for getting into the building and room came by email and WhatsApp. The place was really comfortable, and the location is spectacular. Breakfast was at a cafe around the corner, where they made a real fuss of our grandson. We'd definitely stay again.

The owner is a really friendly, helpful guy, and the place is right across from the colosseo. It's a small BB, but nice and clean, so keep that in mind when setting your expectations. I'd come back in the future.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay at Tre R Colosseo. The room was great too. We plan to stay there on our next trip to Rome!
