I’d seen some bad reviews and was a little apprehensive, but we had no problems. The room was very clean, the beds were made every day, and the shower was excellent. The staff were helpful, and the hotel is close to the attractions.

The room was basic and small, but the double bed was comfortable, which was what mattered most to me. It’s a great base for the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and good shopping. I’d stay here again to explore Rome.

The rooftop Terrazza Leon tapas bar was a highlight, with great craft cocktails and really friendly staff. The hotel team were friendly too, and breakfast was included and very good. It’s also well placed for walking to all the major sights.

The room itself is nice, but sleeping was impossible. The music is loud, and people from the bar make noise right outside the rooms. It feels like trying to sleep in a nightclub.
