Hotel Ferraro

The owner was very friendly, and the hotel was good value for the money. It's small and old, but I enjoyed staying there. The room was clean and big enough, breakfast was free, and the Wi-Fi was free and very good, with fast speeds. For the price, it's hard to beat the location, next to the Colosseum and within a ten-minute walk of the city center.

The location is fantastic, under ten minutes from the Colosseum, with several nice restaurants nearby that didn't feel like tourist traps. For the price, the hotel was excellent: nothing flashy, but very clean, especially the bathroom, and quite comfortable. It was lovely and warm in February. There's Wi-Fi, though it was incredibly slow. Breakfast was nice enough too. I rarely saw anyone at reception, but they left instructions for getting into my room. Everything seemed clean enough, so I can't complain. Very satisfied overall.

As I usually say, visit countries, not hotels! Rome has millions of places like this B&B, but a few things stood out for us. It's a 15-minute walk from the train station and only two minutes on foot from the Coliseum, forum, and hills. The place is fully refurbished, and you can reach the host at any time. Claudia lives nearby and is ready to help right away. You also get your own keys for the building and room, so it feels like having your own flat. The air conditioner worked, though we wished it were more powerful. Many thanks to Claudia from our family for making our Rome holiday so sweet!

The location was great, but the place felt like someone's home. People were yapping at all hours, and I nearly got stuck in the shower because of its stupid door. Sheez. Stay at the place opposite.
