Hotel Franklin Feel The Sound

A good, more affordable option in Rome, especially for a short stay. The room was very clean, and the bed and bedding were comfortable. The decor is quite simple. Reception is open 24 hours, and they let you store your bags, which is helpful.

This is a neat little hotel tucked between buildings on a quiet side street. It’s clean, and the rooms are cleaned every day. There’s fancy sound equipment in the room, though mine only went up to 7.2, probably so it wouldn’t bother other guests. Breakfast was the same on all four days, and I just didn’t like the range of options. In hundreds of hotel stays, this was the first time I actually skipped breakfast for a day. If we come back, we’ll skip breakfast.

It’s great value and a perfect location, with a nice balance of what you need if you plan to spend most of your time sightseeing. The internet is fast enough for streaming, so I can catch my favorite shows after a long day of walking. At other hotels, they often make you log into a slower website first, which is very annoying. It’s close to the metro and chain grocery stores. I always leave satisfied and would stay again if it’s available.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and you can walk to the metro. The staff were friendly, polite, and happy to help. My room was a typical European size, clean and well kept, with fresh sheets and lots of towels. It's a nice little hotel, and I’d happily stay again.
