Hotel La Residenza

Set on a quiet street in a central spot, the hotel made it easy to see the sights. Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, and plenty of cafes and restaurants were all within walking distance. The hotel itself is quaint and beautiful, and our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and quick to respond from before we arrived right through to our departure. I’d highly recommend it!

The location was great, and breakfast was great too. Kitchen and housekeeping service were excellent. The front desk staff were accommodating, if a little cold in their manner. We ate at the bar on the first night. The beer was cold and delicious, but the pizza wasn’t good. We stayed for a few days in late December 2025 and had to change rooms because the first bed was uncomfortable and the room smelled musty.

The staff were wonderful, including before we arrived when they helped arrange airport rides and tours. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, both the service and the food. Breakfast had a good range of fresh options each day, and our room, bathroom, and super-comfortable bed were all great. The hotel is in a quiet but convenient part of the city. Highly recommend!

We ate at La Residenza every day, and the hotel restaurant was lovely. The breakfast spread was very good too. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful, with much better English than my Italian! It’s a little outside the centre, perhaps a 10-minute walk, which made it quieter. Taxis were reasonably priced, for example, 11 Euros from the hotel to the Coliseum. I would have liked a kettle in the room, but that’s really my only complaint. We had a wonderful four nights in Rome. Thank you, La Residenza!
