Hotel Maximus

The staff were helpful throughout our stay, from check-in onward. They gave us directions and a map, arranged an airport transfer, and helped with our luggage. We felt very welcome and well looked after. They also noticed that my booking.com reservation had been cancelled because I’d replaced my credit card, and contacted me while I was already travelling to help me rebook. That saved me from a major travel panic, and I really appreciated it. Our room was exactly as advertised, very clean, and had a well-appointed bathroom with a large shower. It was very quiet at night. The breakfast room was nice and had plenty of options.

The receptionists were amazing, all happy to help and full of useful information. The room was clean, everything worked, the beds were comfortable, and there was very little noise. Breakfast was fine too, with a smaller selection but tasty dishes. It’s a solid hotel in a great location, with everything a short walk away. Definitely recommend.

Everything about the room, breakfast, and location was perfect, and the staff were lovely. Ludovica was especially sweet and helpful. The elevator is quite old and slow, so it could use an update, but that’s a pretty minor issue.

We were a family of four and stayed at Hotel Maximus for two nights. The location was perfect, a short walk from the train station and the main sights, and the front desk staff were fantastic, friendly, and always smiling. Our rooms were spacious, with plenty of room to open our large suitcases, and the showers had great water pressure, which can be hard to find. Breakfast was very basic, but there was something for all of us. We were happy with our stay and would recommend it to friends and family.
