Hotel Santa Prassede

The Monti neighborhood felt calm and quiet, with food and drinks close by, and many major sights were an easy walk away. The hotel is also near the central train station. I picked a smaller room, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a roomy shower. The staff were lovely and helpful throughout. Breakfast is quite limited, mostly pastries, though each morning started with a smile and an offer to make espresso. I really loved staying here.

We stayed four nights and found both rooms clean and pleasant, with plenty of amenities. They even had earplugs for anyone who likes to keep the windows open despite traffic noise. Housekeeping kept the rooms and common areas in great shape. The reception staff were so warm and welcoming, though I’m sorry I didn’t get their names. When our air conditioning stopped working, they moved us promptly to another available room. With a central location and public transport making the rest of the city easy to reach, I’d strongly recommend the place.

The room was cozy, nicely decorated, and cleaned with real care. I slept peacefully despite the central location, thanks to the quiet side street and good soundproofing, and the bed was genuinely comfortable. Hotel Santa Prassede is about 700 meters from Termini Station and close to the beautiful Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. We could reach major sights on foot, and the metro and buses were useful too. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the small details made the stay feel like very good value. It became one of the things that made my visit to Rome, with all its history and sights, so successful. I’m grateful for the hospitality, kindness, thoughtfulness, and advice. Cristina’s care made a difficult night much easier. I arrived late because of a problem at home and had nowhere to stay, but a last-minute cancellation came up and she arranged a room for us. We had a lovely chat while sorting it out, and the next morning she listened as I explained my situation and gave me her number in case I needed more help. I’m very grateful for that support. There were thoughtful touches throughout: water when we arrived, then a generous breakfast with coffee, yoghurt, muesli, and sweets. The room was well equipped with air conditioning, toiletries, a razor, and even a toothbrush and toothpaste. I’d absolutely recommend the place and will remember it.
