Casa Santa Sofia Hotel

The rooms are on the small side, and the shower area is limited, but that didn’t take away much from an otherwise comfortable stay. I was there for three days and found the hotel neat and clean, with a perfect location. The reception team stood out: Christine and Maricana were welcoming and gave us excellent help as tourist guides. I’d be very happy to come back.

Virginia at the front desk was delightful, and we’d happily stay here again. We only had a few days, and the central location made getting around easy. The Cafe across the street had amazing food for breakfast and dinner, so sadly we missed the restaurant inside. The shower is a small European style with a curtain, so tuck it in to avoid puddles. Courtyard noise might bother some, though the double-glazed windows block most of it.

Gabriela was especially attentive and helpful throughout my stay. The staff were all very friendly, and the service was amazing. My room was a little small, but very clean and comfortable. I had a really good experience, and thank you for making it so pleasant!

Changing our booking from a single room to a double meant we had to add breakfast for both guests, which didn’t seem very reasonable. The breakfast itself was simple but acceptable. The hotel is a bit old, though clean, and our small room had most of the amenities we needed. Its location is excellent, close to the metro and an easy walk from the Roman Forum and the Colosseum.
