Getting around was easy thanks to the central location and public transport. The room was large, but had cracks in the walls, and the jacuzzi took up space without working. At night the toilet malfunctioned and flushed nonstop, though they fixed it the following day. Check-in was inconvenient, and luggage was left unattended on armchairs. There was also a loud noise from the balcony. The shower water swung between extremely hot and freezing, with no comfortable temperature in between.

The TV was supposed to be “smart” but could barely get digital terrestrial channels. The bed was dirty and so uncomfortable, with a hole in the middle, that it felt like sleeping on stone and left me with back pain all day. The bathroom was tiny, with nowhere to put my things. The call center basically didn’t exist, and when someone did answer, they were rude and arrogant. Check-in and checkout by phone had already put me off coming back. Still, I gave the place another chance and booked two nights. This time I was suddenly told I had to check in in person by 10:00 PM. I couldn’t get there in time, politely asked for an extra hour and got no response. I lost €160 because they said missing that day’s check-in would cancel the next day’s reservation too. I contacted Booking.com, and only after they intervened did the property reply, in a passive-aggressive way. They claimed they’d already answered, although I’d called at 3:30 PM and heard back at 6:00 PM. I explained the problem and got this response in Roman: “I’m not at the property, I have something to do right now, someone is sick, if you want to leave a negative comment, go ahead.” Then I heard nothing more. I travel all over Italy and have stayed in plenty of places, and this is the worst one I can remember. Never again. With prices like theirs, it’s outrageous. I strongly discourage staying here.

The location was the only good thing. The room was a little dusty, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the service was awful. The address they give for Wi-Fi simply can’t be found. There’s no one at reception, just a webcam. One night, the entry code didn’t work properly and the door kept opening. I texted and called repeatedly without a reply, until I finally rang the bell and a man came out of another room to let us in. I was very unhappy with the person in charge. The woman named Silvia was rude and inconsiderate. They only respond by WhatsApp, and even then… There are lots of other places in good locations, so my advice is to find somewhere else.

Stay away. If they won’t agree to your check-in time, you could be left out on the street.
