Caffe 67 is just downstairs, handy for an espresso and a snack to start the day. Across the lane, you can see Nonna Antonietta making pasta and desserts at Antico Carbone. It was the best gluten-free pasta I had in Italy. Getting up here means climbing 105 stairs, but I thought it was worth it. The apartment makes a great base for exploring Trastevere and Rome, with a well-equipped kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom/laundry. The terraces are fantastic, especially the rooftop, with its 360-degree view over beautiful Rome. Highly recommended, five stars!
