The apartment is just a few minutes on foot from the sea, with everything nearby, including a bakery, pastry shop, and supermarket. Getting into Rome is easy too, since the train station is only a short walk away. It’s clean, well kept, and has all the essentials. The neighborhood feels safe, and even the stairwell was very clean. The owners were easy to reach and got in touch a few days before we arrived, so it felt like things were in order and someone was expecting us. They also helped arrange a late-night airport ride. A popular booking site gives it a rating above 8.9. We highly recommend the apartment and would use it again next time. Ciao!

The owners were helpful and even assisted with arranging a nighttime airport transfer. The apartment is roomy, has three balconies, and is reached by a secure staircase. It’s a lovely spot for a walk by the sea, with a quick Metromare ride into central Rome. Highly recommended!

We stayed for the weekend of 15-16-17. The apartment was comfortable, though a few things felt dated. The sofa, made from two mattresses, was coming apart underneath. The owner charged us €36 in tourist tax for two adults and our two 8-year-old girls. When I asked about it, he said it was €6 per adult per night and that the girls didn’t pay, so I still don’t understand the extra €12. He blamed Booking.com for the mistake, then took offense at the review I posted there. The €12.00 was never refunded.

We booked Il Pirata innamorato for the weekend of March 18th and were left stranded. We’d spoken to the owner on the evening of March 17th to confirm, but when we arrived he said there’d been a mistake and the apartment wasn’t available. He said he’d help us find somewhere else, but that didn’t happen either. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it. Avoid!

It was clean, fully equipped, and communication was easy. The accommodation was sufficient for three people, and we were satisfied.
