c-hotels Fiume

The front desk team, especially Carlos, were fantastic at helping me and making things easy throughout my stay. The hotel and room were cozy and really comfortable. I had a great experience, would recommend it, and would definitely stay again.

The air conditioning worked extremely well, which I really appreciated after long days out in Rome. The stay at c-hotels Fiume Roma is one we remember clearly from our 2024 family vacation, though not for the best reasons. The bathroom was a letdown. There were visible streaks and cleanliness problems on the sink, toilet, and shower. The black tile may be difficult to maintain, but it made the issues stand out. The room itself was underwhelming, and the continental breakfast was pretty standard for Italy, not one of the better ones we had on the trip. Service was decent, but on departure day we needed a taxi to Termini Station. We should have arranged it before breakfast, and the receptionist did try calling one. But nobody told us taxis were unavailable or very busy. If we'd known, we could have walked toward Termini and probably found one on the way. We missed our train and had to buy last-minute tickets to Florence, an unexpected cost of over €300. The location didn't work well for us either. Most major sights were quite far away, and the nearby restaurants seemed aimed more at business travelers than tourists or families. We weren't particularly happy with the experience, and when we came back to Rome in 2025, we stayed somewhere else.

The staff made the stay especially enjoyable. They were friendly, very helpful, and always ready to lend a hand. We also had a very good breakfast with plenty of variety. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel sits in a quiet residential neighborhood with great restaurants and nice places to explore. It's an excellent location for a pleasant, relaxing stay.

We'd stay again for the atmosphere and service. The hotel has an old-world charm, and the rooms are spacious and quiet. Breakfast had a good range of choices, and room service was very quick. Special thanks to Simone and Alex for the outstanding service. It’s a quiet neighborhood near Villa Borghese, with excellent restaurants nearby. The minibar is free, and parking is convenient, €25 and a five-minute walk away. A few downsides: the Wi-Fi was weak and slow, breakfast could have had more fresh vegetables, and some rooms don't have handheld shower heads. If available, ask for one of the three top-floor terrace rooms. The outdoor space is great for relaxing.
