We came from the US and had a wonderful stay. The host was lovely, made sure we had what we needed, and suggested places to eat along with safe ways to get there. The shared kitchen and other spaces were great, and we liked the map where guests can leave a note. Having laundry available was a real help while traveling. The outside looked a bit rough, though the neighborhood and its people were nice. We'd recommend staying here.

The place is a little way from the center, but transport links are good. It worked especially well for a larger group: there are three apartments along one corridor, separated from the rest of the building, and you could book them all and meet in the pleasant shared area in the evenings. We chose a reasonably priced apartment with two rooms and a bathroom. Breakfast was simple, with bread, cake, jam, and cornflakes available throughout the day. A nice family-run place.

Fernando was really kind and helpful. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It's conveniently located, with several ways to get into the center, including the metro and buses. There's also a supermarket and places to eat nearby. It was just right for us.

Il Segno made our Rome city break a success. It was the best accommodation experience we've ever had, and I'd definitely book it.

For the price, this was great. I couldn't have asked for a better base for exploring Rome.
