The rooms are clean and nice, and the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. The location is great. One thing to plan for: if you arrive after 2:00 or 3:00 PM, contact reception in advance for entry instructions, since staff won’t be there. You can reach them easily on WhatsApp. There are two doors, one for the building and one for the hotel, as several hotels share the building. The hotel is on the fourth floor. You can take the elevator or use the stairs to the left of the old lift. The elevator looks a little scary at first, but works perfectly fine. After hours, they leave an envelope with your keys outside the hotel door. I highly recommend Imperium Suite Trevi.

The place was spotless, with a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, good AC, and thoughtful extras like tea and instant coffee in the room. There’s also an espresso machine in the lobby, and the concierge was helpful. It’s central but on a fairly quiet street, and I barely heard anything from other rooms. I had to rush off to a food tour when I arrived, but they let me leave my bags and collect them later. WhatsApp was handy since I travel with data only, though replies could be slow. Reception is staffed for limited hours, but they provide everything you need for arriving and leaving. It’s on the fourth floor of a building with several small hotels. The elevator is tiny and awkward with luggage, and it won’t run if someone hasn’t shut another door properly. You may have to take the stairs to find which door was left open. I initially confused this place with Trevi ImperiAL suites.

We were able to leave our suitcase for free for a couple of hours after checkout, which helped since our flight home was late. Our room, Colloseo, had a good amount of space, a roomy ensuite, and excellent shower pressure, especially by British standards. The two sets of French doors looked out over the streets and gave us lovely views, though they let in some noise, so light sleepers might notice it. The room was modern, very clean, and well maintained. The staff were pleasant and friendly, but reception was generally open for only a few hours around midday. They gave us both a local Italian phone number and a WhatsApp number that could be messaged any time. The hotel is on the fourth floor, up a long flight of stairs, with a small lift that fits about two people. I stayed for three nights.

The receptionist was warm and helpful, and my room was very clean with everything thoughtfully set out. For my first visit to Rome, choosing Imperium worked out really well. The Trevi Fountain is only a 2-3 minute walk away. I was really happy with my stay and would come back next time. 🥳 ❤️

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the rooms were spotless with lovely decor. The location puts you right in the city center. The AC wasn’t working, so I slept with the windows open. That meant some street noise late at night and early in the morning. It was a small downside, and I’d still happily recommend the hotel.
