The location is a real plus, just across from spanish steppes, though the neighborhood gets noisy and street sounds carry into the rooms. The wireless internet was shabby, which is a big drawback. Breakfast is at the restaurant across the street, where you choose from the menu rather than having an open buffet. The place itself feels cozy, the rooms smell nice, and they’re a decent size for a boutique hotel in the city center. I couldn’t figure out the fantasy lights on the bed.

We were really disappointed with the « iMove » standard room. The shower drain was clogged, the toilet leaked, and both the ceiling and hand shower heads were leaking. Noise came right through the closed window, and since the room is beside reception, you could hear conversations in both directions. There was nowhere to put clothes or hang towels, even in the bathroom. The 3D glasses also didn’t work with the 3D TV. For a standard room, it’s very expensive, even in central Rome.

The iqube room was small, but cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the location in central Rome made all the sights easy to reach on foot. I’d highly recommend it.

Such a disappointing stay at irooms. At 170€/night, the room felt like a hostel. There’s no hotel service, just a room, with no lobby and no afternoon reception.
