K Rooms

It’s really close to Termini, but the place looks nothing like the photos. The floor, sheets, and everything else were dirty, and the room was smaller than we expected for the price. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The place is close to Termini station, with plenty of bus stops nearby for getting around Roma. I stayed two nights in a triple room and had a great time. It was clean, housekeeping came daily, and the staff were kind. Just to clarify, this isn’t a hotel. The rooms are in an apartment building.

We were left to figure things out on our own when we arrived at K Rooms, and the building had an electrical fire. It was so hard to breathe that we couldn’t even go inside. Someone else staying there helped me get up to the room, where I found bugs on the bed. I called the host repeatedly and begged him to send help, but nobody came. Eventually he stopped taking my calls altogether. We had to find a lovely hotel down the road, where the staff were very accommodating. We lost a lot of money on this place and were outraged by the lack of help. A random guest had to step in for us.

Getting to K Rooms was easy with the instructions from the owners, who sent pictures and videos. The lift is small, but two adults and their suitcases fit. It’s near the metro, with several nice restaurants around, and I’d call the main tourist sights walkable. The hop-on hop-off bus stop is nearby too if you’d rather not walk. The room was lovely, had everything we needed, and was cleaned daily. We slept well in the comfortable bed, and the modern bathroom was spotless with a great shower. People mention the sex cinema by the entrance, but there are no pictures outside. During our six days there, its lights were on only twice, so it wasn’t a problem for us.
