The slight unpleasant smell was noticeable, though my main concern is how the place is presented. It’s an apartment converted into guest rooms inside a residential building, with three rooms made from one apartment and the living room used as a lobby. That doesn’t come across clearly in the listing, and the photos can give a different impression. I’m fine with this kind of accommodation, and it can work well. It would just help to be transparent about what guests are booking so expectations are clear.

Dennis was so friendly when he handed us the key. He marked nearby metro stations and the most interesting sights on a map for us. The location was great, just a few minutes from the Colosseum and Termini station. We stayed a few nights at the B&B and were really happy with it. Everything was clean, and in the summer heat the AC and little fridge were great to have. Would definitely recommend!

Clean room and bathroom, lovely service, and excellent breakfast and coffee. For the city center, especially this close to Termini, I think it’s a great place for the money. The walls are thin and the water pressure a bit low, if I had to mention anything, but those were easy to overlook.

The staff are really friendly, and the rooms have a nice atmosphere and feel high quality. The beds are good, and having AC, a TV and free WiFi is handy. The shared bathroom could be better, and sometimes it’s difficult to get up. Still a good stay in a good location.

What made Kambal B&B feel like a second home was Elbert and Randy. They’re kind, hospitable, and worked hard to make sure I was comfortable. I’ve rarely met people as nice or hardworking, in Rome or anywhere in my life. I’m truly grateful I got to stay there and meet them. Thank you, Elbert and Randy! The residence itself is beautiful, right in the heart of Rome. Its modern, clean, sophisticated feel is lovely, and the white lights look great against the blue interior.
