L'Obelisque Maison De Luxe

The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable, but the air conditioning wasn't working. The location was great, with restaurants and tourist spots nearby.

Breakfast was fantastic, with lots to choose from and really delicious coffee made by a lovely woman whose name, I believe, was Erica. She was such a joy, very friendly, and gave us great recommendations. The hotel isn't far from the Trevi Fountain, and there's a train station for heading to Vatican City. L’OBELISQUE MAISON DE LUXE was a lovely place to stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, though it could use a little renovation, and we could hear some noise from the front door or people passing by. Even so, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

The best thing about this hotel is its location, right by the Spanish stairs, with a metro stop and restaurants close by. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful, especially the two men at reception, though two women we encountered once didn't even greet us. Our room was small, as is common in Italian hotels, with a small but modern bathroom and a great shower. The bed was large and comfortable. In January it could get quite cold, and the heating and air conditioning weren't working. The walls were extremely thin, so we could hear people in neighbouring rooms talking. Breakfast was a real letdown: no vegetables or salami, and when we went down around 10:00, they weren't replenishing the food. The juices were very watered down. We were disappointed and wouldn't recommend booking breakfast here. The hotel was good otherwise, but we may have paid a bit too much for it.

The hotel is in a great spot. Our accommodation was clean and modern, though small, and breakfast was okay, with pancakes, rolls, cold cuts, and similar items, but no fruit. Mornings were very noisy because the rooms sit right beside the dining room. We could also hear the front door downstairs, which caused a strong vibration in our room.
