The rooms are decent and the location is hard to beat. I was going to give 4.5, but the service was even better. Jamal was especially good!

We’d stay here again. The price and location are great, and I’d recommend it. At first, finding the front counter was a little sus since there were no signs, but staff seemed to be there from 9am-11pm, I think. You can store your bags for free before and after check-in or checkout, which was great. The room entrance is separate from the counter, but that wasn’t a big deal. I left something in the room and they found it for me, thank you 🙏 We booked a private room with a shared bathroom. When we checked in at 10am, they asked whether we’d pay an extra 15€ per night for a private bathroom. We said no, and the room wasn’t ready then, but when we came back at 9:30pm, they’d given us a room with its own bathroom. It was clean, with towels and linens provided, and the bathroom was quite good. They made the beds on day two, so maybe keep valuables with you. There’s no kettle anywhere, not even in the common area, but that’s acceptable for the price.

We’d paid in full for the room and arrived after a long trip, but ended up literally out on the street. Nobody had told us ahead of time that passports were needed at check-in, and once there, the receptionist suddenly said we couldn’t stay. They offered no help or alternative, just refused us outright. We could barely communicate because the receptionist didn’t speak English or Italian, making an already stressful situation chaotic. We left feeling frustrated, helpless, and abandoned even though we’d paid everything in advance. One of the most upsetting travel experiences I’ve had.

The front desk pointed us toward places to explore in Rome, and their advice was spot on. Great room and service too. We absolutely loved staying here. Thanks for everything!
