Everyone was so kind, from the staff right through to the property owner.

Good.

The room was cramped and uncomfortable, with the double bed tucked beneath another loft bed and no outlets beside the bed. Its shutter was broken, as the owner told us, and the curtains barely blocked any light, especially with the balcony door open. Mosquitoes kept us up, and the tiny bathroom offered very little support. The shared terrace had no chairs, so it wasn't usable. When we asked for water on arrival, we were told to use tap water. Breakfast meant a voucher at a nearby café for one cappuccino or coffee and one croissant. We had to pay the difference for anything else, like juice. We paid the full price in cash on arrival, and for that amount I expected much better. I wouldn't recommend it. The B&B is in a pleasant residential part of Rome, but far from the center. Buses serve the area well, though there's no metro line, and the building is inside a large residence that takes a long walk to reach.

Massimiliano was welcoming from the start and suggested some good places to eat. My friend and I had a lovely three days, and I really enjoyed sitting out on the apartment's terrace in the sunshine, where there were chairs and armchairs. Our room was small but had everything we needed, including a mosaic bathroom, and it was beautiful. The B&B is in a residential area a little outside the center, about a 20-minute bus ride away.
