The lively nighttime atmosphere suited us, with music and bars nearby. We liked being so close to everything, and the location was ideal: just steps from Piazza Navona, around a 15-minute walk to the Vatican, and roughly 30 minutes to the Colosseum. We could easily walk everywhere. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The front desk held our luggage before check-in and after checkout so we could keep exploring. Our room had an espresso machine and plenty of coffee and tea. They also had little extras like an iron or kettle available if you asked. It made the stay comfortable. We'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the heart of Rome.

We were happy with the stay and would come back to Rome. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the location worked perfectly for us. The room was cozy, the AC worked well, and the windows kept the noise out, so I’m not sure why others mention it. They brought fresh water and espresso pods each morning, cleaned daily, and changed towels as needed. There are a few steps before the elevator, but it wasn’t a problem.

Natalia at reception was so friendly and helped us a lot with choosing a room. Ours was spacious and clean. The hotel is right in the center, with plenty of sights within walking distance. Just be aware that there are about 10 steps up to the elevator.

The location was hard to beat, and for the price I thought it was worth it. I booked through DaPlace. The room itself was fine apart from the air conditioner, which was broken and left it really hot. We tried sleeping with the window open, but the street below was very loud. Check-in took some planning. Let them know when you’ll arrive and get the entry details in advance. The desk is only open around 10 am to 3 pm, so if you arrive outside those hours without the information, you won’t be able to get in. Everything else worked well.

For nearly 200 a day, I expected more than a dirty room. There were dust balls on the floor repeatedly. They changed the sheets but left the bathroom uncleaned, and there was no WiFi, so we had to buy internet. The room also smelled bad, possibly from a cheap air freshener. I can accept the fourth floor and old elevator as part of staying in an old Italian building. But the owner was absent when we couldn’t find the fixed water supply they provided, and once the whole building smelled strongly of pot, which was annoying and showed little respect for the other tenants. I wouldn’t stay again. For that money, I’d rather get a four-star hotel downtown than pay so much for a dirty room.
