Le Stanze Di Ottaviano

Letizia and Alessandro are great hosts, and their appartamemt is really cozy. Letizia is very helpful and suggests lovely places in the city that feel local and serve delicious food and drinks. The location is excellent, close to three famous landmarks and a metro station, and you can walk to some sights a little farther away too.

My room was clean, well equipped, and furnished with care, and the management came across as attentive and professional. I only had one night here and didn't get to use the shared areas, though the setup seems suitable for a longer stay too. It's a classic Prati home, and the location is hard to beat, just a few steps from Ottaviano metro. It's especially handy for the Vatican Museums, and even for lawyers needing the courts at Piazzale Clodio. For a B&B in Rome, this is hard to top.

Letizia Calandra made our stay feel especially welcoming. She's a friendly, gracious host who's always ready with useful tips for seeing Rome, and her work as a respected soprano is another part of who she is. You can tell she puts real care into looking after guests. The place is spotless and very carefully managed, with rooms furnished elegantly down to the small details. Getting here from the station is easy, and it's a great base for the historic center's main sights. Le Stanze di Ottaviano felt comfortable and welcoming from the start. We'd happily recommend it to other travelers and come back ourselves.

We found the kitchen really useful, especially when we came back from a rainy day and wanted to make hot herbal tea. For breakfast, though, we went to the bistro right downstairs. The room was comfortable and spotless, and Letizia gave us very helpful advice. The neighborhood has a lovely, peaceful feel even at night, with bars and trattorias nearby. It's also very convenient for the metro and only 500 meters from St. Peter's Square. Thanks, Letizia, we'd gladly recommend it.
