This was completely unprofessional and unhelpful. I booked for two families coming over the Christmas holidays. The hotel canceled one family's reservation a week before they were due to arrive, so we made other arrangements. Then, six days before the second family was supposed to arrive from North America, that reservation was canceled too. They said both bookings had been canceled because of “over-booking,” even though we'd made them more than two months earlier. They also said there was nothing they could do to help. I'll gladly spend my money elsewhere in Rome and support hotels people can actually rely on.

The air conditioning was broken throughout our entire two-week stay, and the apartment got up to 31°C (88°F) during the day, barely cooling to 28°C (82°F) at night. With four young children, including a toddler, we were miserable. I reported it repeatedly during the first five days and was brushed off with “give it time.” I asked for three fans and got one after 48 hours. They suggested we try another unit, but its A/C was broken too. Other families in the building told us they had the same problem, so it seemed like there wasn't any working A/C in the building. Limehome had advertised air conditioning, and I felt misled. This is a remotely managed property, with no one there to help, no maintenance, and just generic chat messages while you're trying to sleep in the heat. They offered 20% back, which felt like a joke given how brutal it was. I've attached some photos as proof. If you get stuck there, one desperate trick is to run a fan through the cold shower water. It might make things a little more bearable, but it won't fix the scam. Rome was great and most people were nice, but some locals in Pigneto really don't want you there. Be aware of your surroundings and don't walk alone at night.

My apartment was clean and nice, and I had a great time. The area is well connected, though Rome's transport system can be tricky.

The suite has real potential, and self check-in is convenient. It's in a pleasant neighborhood and looks good, but in warm weather the climate control just isn't adequate. Suite no. 4 on the first floor is a large open space with a lot of height and a metal roof that holds heat. Even with the thermostat set properly to 18°C, the temperature stayed above 27°C at night, making it almost impossible to sleep or rest. It may be less of an issue in cooler months, but when the first real heat wave hit at the end of May, conditions became critical. After two very uncomfortable nights, I had to leave early and move to another hotel. I took photos and sent them to customer support, but they were slow and ineffective while I was there, and didn't offer a real immediate fix. It's a shame the air conditioning couldn't handle the heat.

The apartments are modern and really clean, and you're close to bus and metro stops that can take you all over Rome. A fantastic place to stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
