There's no reception on site, but the owner or property manager replies quickly online and helps whenever needed. The rooms are modern, with a fairly spacious bathroom, and the kitchen and dining area are pleasant, with plenty of options to buy what you want and eat there instead of in your room. Breakfast is packaged baked goods. The location is excellent, about a 10-minute walk to the Vatican and 5 minutes to the metro. For the price, it's definitely worth it.
We couldn't reach the host when we arrived and got no reply for 2.5hours, so we had to book another room for the first night. They then wouldn't let us check in until 11am the next day, even though we'd been charged the full day before. The whole issue with them and the travel agent ruined our Rome trip. We lost 1.5 days traveling around with our luggage.
The owner was friendly and happy to answer questions, explain things, and suggest good places in Rome. He served breakfast himself and kept guests company with small talk. The place is small, nice, and very clean, and the rooms look just like the pictures. It's about a 10-minute walk to the Vatican and around 2 minutes to the Metro, which gets you to Termini indirectly in about 15 minutes. Everything was great, and I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Rome.
The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the area felt safe. It's comfortable to stay in, with a good location that's easy to reach by public transport.
We had an amazing long weekend in Rome for a wedding. Emanuele served a lovely Italian breakfast and was incredibly friendly with my 4 year old daughter. Our room was clean, tidy, and welcoming for my family of 3. The location was perfect, by the Cipro metro station and a 15 min walk from Vatican City. Five stars!
