Housekeeping also put personal items in odd places around the room. The service felt careless and unprofessional, with little attention to basic guest needs, and I can’t recommend this hotel. The most serious problem was our luggage. After check-in, staff misplaced it and left it in another guest’s room for the whole day. We only found out when we returned that evening and contacted reception. Our belongings could easily have been lost or stolen, which was a major security concern. On our second night, they took all our used towels but left no clean ones. We got back after 11 PM, when reception was closed, and the emergency contact couldn’t help. After a full day walking around Rome in the summer heat, we had no towels and no practical solution until morning.

Asia was the highlight of our stay. She was a gem and could easily have a second career as a part-time tour guide. She shared great tips for must-see sights and hidden gems, plus lovely places to eat and where to find the best gelato. Her love for Italy and Rome really comes through, and she makes an excellent cappuccino. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path, about 30-40 minutes from the main attractions. Some travelers may like the quieter setting, though being a little closer to the city center would have been more convenient for us. Our room and bathroom were on the small side but perfectly adequate. We didn’t use the fridge or TV, so I can’t comment on them. The breakfast room was small, but cozy and inviting. The host and hostess were happy to make fresh espresso, cappuccino, or lattes on request.

Getting around Rome was easy from Hotel Kent Roma, and the location was really convenient. The staff were friendly and paid attention to what we needed, always willing to help. I had a very pleasant, comfortable stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

My daughter and her boyfriend are 17, and yesterday the hotel turned them away because Italian rules don't allow minors to stay without an adult. I hadn't known that. A former colleague of mine who lives there vouched for them, but they still wouldn't let the two young people stay. They were simply put out.
