The room felt suffocating, and the old building seemed poorly maintained. When we told the staff woman that my elderly parents felt suffocated and wanted to leave, her behavior changed completely. We asked to cancel, but she refused to refund us even though Booking.com’s policy allowed a partial refund of the room cost and a full refund of the city tax. She said she couldn’t return the city tax once the receipt had been issued, then said she had no cash. In the end, she refunded us in cash, which she’d had all along. We felt the place was very low standard and the staff were dishonest. Don’t be taken in by the positive reviews.

Don’t trust the photos, this was horrible. I even had to ask for soap and other toiletries because they weren’t replenished each day. A terrible experience in Rome. This accommodation didn’t deserve even one star.

The location was wonderful and the service was amazing. A special thank you to Angelica for her kindness and help. We really appreciated how responsive and caring she was. Thanks for everything!

A great spot, close enough to walk or take a short cab ride to the main sights, but far enough away for a quiet night’s sleep. There’s a lovely little market across the street on weekend mornings and the wonderful Ai Spaghettari restaurant right next door. Great price and location. We can’t wait to come back to Rome.

Our host was so kind and went out of her way to make sure we got to the train station on time. We loved our time in Rome. Thank you!
