Magica Luna Boutique Hotel Roma

They let us check in early, the staff were polite, and the location was good. But the stay wasn’t worth what we paid. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I expected, and daily cleaning didn’t include more shampoo, which was disappointing. Hot water came through with very low pressure, making showers uncomfortable, and the temperature control didn’t work properly. The person in charge said they’d look into it, but it was never fixed while we were there. A mixed experience.

We stayed five nights and were really happy with the hotel. It’s in a quiet area with good restaurants and breakfast places nearby. The room was cleaned every day, and the staff, including the girl at reception, were amazing. She was so polite and helpful.

The receptionist was lovely and friendly, and the air conditioning was PERFECT!!! Our room looked just like the pictures online. The street was beautiful, with great views (attached), and we could walk everywhere. The Spanish Steps were 15 minutes away, Termini was nearby, and there was a Rinascante store just a 3-minute walk away for shopping. I can’t recommend this place enough, and I’ll definitely book again on my next visit!!! 🤍

The staff were wonderful, always smiling, kind and helpful, and the place was very clean. The bathroom was big and clean apart from the shower. But I booked this boutique hotel expecting something quite different, and we ended up with a very basic room that could’ve been anywhere, far from the centre. Our window faced a tiny courtyard. It was made opaque, so there was no view and no sunlight. The room also didn’t have the stone ceiling shown in the lovely pictures, just a plain white one. The bed was hard and noisy, waking us whenever we moved; the pillows were thin and hard too. The air conditioner made loud, strange noises, so we couldn’t sleep with it on even though it was 36 degrees in Roma. The shower wasn’t practical, and a joint was missing. We could hear people in the corridor as if our door were open. After reading so many positive reviews, I’d been excited, so this was disappointing.
