Rome Marriott Grand Hotel Flora

We were left stranded overnight in Rome when our international Delta flight was cancelled, and booked a last-minute room at the Rome Marriott Grand Hotel Flora. What could have been a miserable travel disruption became a stay my wife and I will remember warmly. The team was welcoming, gracious, and professional from the moment we arrived. To our surprise, we were upgraded to an amazing suite with a huge private terrace and outdoor hot tub, an in-room sauna, a separate living area, and incredible views. The property is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the service was outstanding. After such an exhausting, frustrating day, the staff's thoughtfulness changed the whole experience. Every interaction felt warm and polished. Luxury hotels can feel transactional, but this one felt like it cared. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Grand Hotel Flora team for going above and beyond.

What made both visits so memorable was the friendly, caring, guest-focused staff. The stylish, comfortable rooms, welcoming lobby, and personal service made the experience feel luxurious, and I loved every moment. My mother and I first came to this wonderful hotel in November 2024, then returned a year later. I fell in love with the place and made lovely memories here. The location is excellent, the views are stunning, the design is beautiful, and the breakfast and restaurant were delicious. Both stays were unforgettable. I highly recommend it.

The Oval Suite was stunning, especially its unusual view of the historic city walls. Grand Hotel Flora has a great spot in Rome, quiet enough to relax but close enough to walk to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. Service was world-class and especially welcoming for families. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

The staff were so welcoming and service-minded that our family felt special. We loved the delicious breakfast and the view from the top-floor restaurant. The hotel is close to Villa Borghese and the U.S. Embassy, which made a handy landmark for taxis, and convenient for getting around. The three of us stayed five nights in the oval room and enjoyed its lovely balcony. The area was quiet at night, so we slept well. The pull-out mattress wasn't quite as comfortable as the bed, but our teenage daughter still rested well. I wish we could have stayed longer.
