Martini Bed

We only stayed one night after our Vrbo fell through at the last minute, but the staff made a big impression. They couldn’t fit our family for the whole trip, yet helped me find another good place, called the hotel for me, and explained the local transit route there the next morning. The room was clean and pleasant, and the location seemed great, one block from the Metro. There’s a balcony with chairs overlooking a small courtyard, plenty of nearby food options and a little supermarket. They also provide a simple breakfast, smart TV and small fridge. Really good people and a handy spot.

The owner was really friendly and sent us a PDF guide to Rome and the neighborhood on WhatsApp. His suggestions were spot on. We stayed two nights in a private room with a shared bathroom. Everything felt modern and was well furnished, and the air conditioning was essential in summer. It’s not in central Rome, but the Metro makes getting downtown easy. The neighborhood is nice, with a large modern supermarket, a few good restaurants and an amazing bakery. A fantastic find.

Paolo was lovely and helpful, both when welcoming us and showing us around. It has a family feel, so it can get a little noisy, but that suited us and felt like home. The Metro is very close, as are lots of authentic neighborhood restaurants and cafes. We could also leave our luggage for free after checkout and explore before our flight. We loved it, recommend it, and would definitely come back :)
