We had a horrible stay, starting with being given a smaller room than the one we booked and paid for. The host said the bathroom in our reserved room was broken, but hadn't told us before we arrived. When we asked about some accommodation for the change, she didn't seem to care or look for a solution, and then stopped replying to our messages. She charged us the local tax, which is normal, but we asked several times for a document explaining the costs because the one she showed us in person wasn't in English. She never sent it. After two days we moved rooms. It still wasn't the one we had paid for, but it was closer to what we expected, and at first we were fairly satisfied. On our second night in the new room, there was a lot of strange noise, then a light appeared in our room. We tried to ignore it and go to sleep, but someone came in during the night. We screamed, and nobody came to check on us. We were terrified, just the two of us, and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. We later found the door unlocked, even though we know we locked it before bed. We left a day early and paid for another hotel because we didn't feel safe. The place had a strange vibe, and we wouldn't recommend it.

The host was so kind and helpful. She walked us from her office at Via Rattazzi to the apartment, pointed out the main places to go for food, and left us a map of Rome and bottles of water in the fridge so we didn't have to buy any. Her English isn't very good, but we got by using translate. The apartments were sparkling clean, with lovely Roman-style details on the ceiling. We got fresh towels and made beds every day. The kitchen had a microwave, refrigerator, and espresso machine. There were cute, reasonably priced restaurants about 1.5 km away. We walked to Colosseo and Vatican, and Termini station was 10 minutes away for anyone who'd rather not walk. It's great value and close to everything without costing too much. I honestly recommend it to anyone staying in Rome.

The lady was wonderful and thoughtful, serving us two huge meals every day. Keep in mind that she only speaks Mandarin Chinese, so if you don't speak Mandarin she'll need to ask her friend downstairs to help. For Rome, where eating out is so expensive, this place was a great deal.

The location was really good, and we had a wonderful time. It's very affordable, and the kind lady did everything she could to make us comfortable. The place was clean, with a private toilet in the room, and breakfast was good.

If you're on a tighter budget but still want comfort, this is a great choice. It has what you need, plus a kitchen and coffee. The place was clean, and the host was sweet and attentive. Amazing value for the price and location.
