Hotel Memphis

The hotel is well located and the breakfast buffet was good. But the room window didn’t really feel like a proper window, and the bathroom was more like what you’d expect in a 2 star hotel. The staff weren’t helpful. We paid 110 euros plus 7.5 in city tax.

The bathroom ceiling came down, water flooded the area, and my family and I had to sit in the lobby for six hours. It was a serious safety issue and one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. We were promised compensation several times in emails, but nothing has been provided and now our messages are being ignored. Unless I receive immediate compensation and a full refund for that night, I’ll keep posting reviews and updating my feedback on Google Maps until the hotel reaches a one-star rating. Extremely disappointed. I don’t recommend it.

Anyone looking for a pleasant stay should avoid this hotel. My family and I went through a nightmare there, and we’ll keep sharing reviews and photos until we’re fully refunded for that disastrous night. I have absolutely no respect or courtesy for the hotel’s management. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The location made it easy to see Rome, with the Trevi fountain, Pantheon, and Spanish steps very close by and the other sights within walking distance. We really enjoyed our three nights. Staff greeted us politely every time and were very helpful, and the rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast had a good variety. We’d definitely stay again.
