Merulana Holidays

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and peaceful, and it’s close to the Colosseum, the bus station, and Termini. Silvana and her son Sergio were so kind and shared lots of helpful things with us. Thanks to them for everything.

The courtyard view was lovely to wake up to, and the room itself was wonderful, modern, and very clean. The small lift adds to the building’s charm. There’s a table of snacks and espresso available from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. The room was tidied between noon and 1 p.m., so housekeeping never woke me. I saw her coming and going each day, and she was gracious and kind. You get a key card, though the beautiful front door and the door to the rooms on your floor use keys. The rooms are quite close together, so we could hear a neighbor showering and louder guests on the other side. There was also what sounded like a child running upstairs. Shops, restaurants, cafes, pizza, and a laundry place right next door are all nearby. It’s a short walk to the Colosseum and other notable sights. Highly recommend.

The owner was so kind and always got back to me right away when I had a question or a problem. The room was very clean, especially the spotless bathroom. It’s near the station, with a supermarket close by and the main tourist sights within walking distance. I also appreciated the complimentary coffee machine and light snacks. Highly recommended.

Svetlana was a wonderful host, friendly and full of handy advice for getting around the city. I stayed in May 2025, and had a lovely, spacious, clean room that was refreshed daily.
